On the Road again!

Okay, thanks for stopping by my blog.  From October of 2016 to April 15th I was in OHIO.  I loved it there, but there were no jobs for me.  I am in College to get my Human Resource Degree (Masters).  I love to learn and study new things, and I love the challenge of being 50 years old and going back to college.

Low and behold, where I lived in Ohio, our cousins “got separated.”  I moved him to Florida, Jacksonville.  There were cousins there to let us all stay with them.  That lasted a month!  I went out of my mind.  Florida is too hot for me.  I had to take a job cleaning a hotel.  It was the worst job I ever had in my entire life, but I had to make money to get back to Ohio, to get my three cats, and then go to Illinois, where I had a Cosmetology job lined up.

The kicker is that after 13 hours of being on the road from FL to OH- we hit a DEER! It was not too bad but enough to scare the bejeezees out of me!  We kept going.  Mind you our breaks were badly needing a new set on the front.  It was a miracle we made it to OHIO.  We did get the cats and left for IL.  The worst part was going through the Chicago Skyline area!  Tollway.  So on May 15th I believe we got into IL, the day of Easter..or was it Sunday?

We had little money.

We stayed with friends for a month.

Then moved 2x’s since then.  Now it is the end of July, and almost August when the kids go back to school.

I am studying a lot, learning a lot.  Praying to find a place to live…permanently.

Evanescent

What is ev·a·nes·cent?  I am not sure what this word means, thus the definition is posted below.

I am in a Transition in my life.
I was homeless for awhile and now I have some place to stay.
This too, shall pass.
I am starting a new job.
I am nervous about all the changes.
College keeps me busy and my mind in tact.
Life has it’s challenges
I pray no one goes through the hard times that I have in the past 12 months.
Not knowing where you will sleep or eat
or if you will work or not.
Stress gets the best of me although I seem to be okay despite it all.
